"The ring I received was not at all colorful and looked nothing like the picture. The amethyst was almost clear and the gold setting so thin that it looks like the ring will bend easily. Exremely upset as I was hoping to get a great ring based on previous reviews.

DO NOT SIZE THIS RING as you may want to return it. Worst purchase on JTV to date."

"I've always wanted a large, darkly purple amethyst and I really hit the jackpot with this ring. The color and clarity is brilliant, the cut is beautiful and I've gotten an amazing amount of compliments on it. I also couldn't believe the price. Definitely worth it! With all of the things I've purchased at JTV this is just another great example of beautiful stones, lovely settings and a helpful and knowledgable staff. I would most assuredly recommend this ring to everyone!"
