"After reading everyone elses reviews, I may have just been unfortunate to receive one a little off. The pearls I received did not pass muster when compared with some other very old pearls that I have. The necklace seemed to not be coated very well, and there were areas on some of the pearls that showed marked indentations. I am not an expert on pearls, but I was disappointed. I had to return them. I did love the length."

"My pearls are just beautiful. They seem to glow with a radiance all their own. The nacre is thick & uniform with the surface being blemish & pit free. I can see my reflection in them. I definitely think these are high quality akoya pearls & worth every penny! They are creamy elegance!! And I just love the longer length; it makes layering them with other pearls or necklaces a breeze. I have bought several akoya pearl strands from JTV & have always been satisfied with the quality especially in recent times with the problems pearl farms are having in Asia. These are an excellent value."
