"Was disappointed in this ring. The center stone was very included and the color was several shades lighter than pictured on the internet. The diamonds were tiny and milky when louped. I realize for the price that I wasn't getting "gemmy tanzinite", however, I thought the quality of the center stone should have been a bit better - especially the color saturation. The stone I received was extremely light and purple with very little blue features. Hope others had better luck."

"Received a few days ago, when I opened the box, it was stunning, however the band didnot have that sparkle to it, took out the loop and it was extremely scratched! The first diamond next to the tanzy was lifeless ( if it were further down the band it would be less noticeable). However I still gave it a good rating because the tanzy was clear and blue blue! Returned it the next day, only because it was a gift, and I didn't want them to think I wore it for weeks before sending it to my sister."

Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
