"This supposedly BLUE Topaz if anything but blue. Even though it is in a blue backgroung package you still can not see any blue. When they say sky blue, be prepared to see the sky through a very cloudy day."

"I really like this bracelet, the craftsman ship is exquisite, and very substantial in the silver, the stones are a little paler than my liking but they actually look like aquamarines. Very clear lots of sparkle and very comfortable to wear."

"I had high hopes for this bracelet. I saw it on TV and thought it was a really good value. BUT... the clasp would not close and the blue topaz was more like white topaz. I was really disappointed."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
