"I tried 3 different rings and each did not have a quality tanzanite. One had a distinct window, the others were shades of purple either lighter or uneven. I love this ring look but it doesn't appear I will be getting one as I can't seem to get one in the color and quality I like. Nice ring if price was cheeper."

"After hearing the presentation on this ring and expecting it to be a deeper color (as the picture on the website also portrays), I was disappointed when it arrived to see that the color is very washed out. Compared to the CWT of the stone, the gold weight is lighter than I expected as well. This one has to go back."

Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
