"I bought this ring with the idea I would pop the stone out and reset another stone in its place, but when I received the ring, I changed my mind.... the color was so beautiful in this stone, I will have to keep this ring as is and find another setting for what I intended. The prongs on this ring are so strong and they protect the stone....Maybe I'll just have to get another one..."

"This ring is just lovely. My birthday is in January and I have lots of garnet, but this stone is the most beautiful color I have ever seen. And I think the setting is just gorgeous. "I just received my ring - I was anxiously awaiting it!!! And for the most part it meets my expectations. The stone is flawless and a beautiful clear red . . not the brownish red it looks in the pic. I trusted the prior reviews on the color and they were spot on! Only thing I would change is to have the gold be solid, not hollow in parts - the ring has a weighty look to it and I expected it to feel that way, too. But for the price you certainly can't go wrong. I'm very pleased with this purchase."
